The two Rotary Clubs in the city of Athens [Athens (noon) Rotary Club and Athens Sunrise Rotary Club] are collaborating on a project named: The Frontline Appreciation Project.  Its purpose is to thank Athens front-line workers, as well as locally owned businesses, for their extraordinary efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Perennial plants from White's Mill were recently purchased to give to our local healthcare workers.   President Sheila Mark reports that the recent project-event (June 29, 2020) was a great success!  Rotarians, children of Rotarians, and friends of Rotarians decorated signs to place at the entrances and walkways at Ohio Health O'Bleness Hospital to thank the healthcare workers for their service during the COVID-19 pandemic.  Click on the photo above to see an album of photos from Pres. Sheila taken at the event.  Pres. Sheila suggests, if you look closely, you may notice the special expressions on the faces of the medical workers who received perennials.
